Returners

Returners is an SRPG where you have to lead groups of five heroes in exciting real-time battles. In these battles, a good strategy is essential to victory. You'll have to learn to exploit both your own strengths and your enemies' weaknesses.

Before each battle starts, players can set their heroes' initial maneuver. Once the battle is under way you can go back to giving directions after a few seconds, but if you haven't planned your opening well it may be too late. For example, a good idea would be to set your heroes that can do long-distance attacks to attack enemy wizards.

Between battles, you can manage and customize your group of heroes. Among the characters you can recruit are Theseus, Cleopatra, William Tell, Robin Hood, Red Riding Hood, and Hercules. You can level all of them up as you win battles, upgrade their attributes, and get new powers. You can also kit them out with more powerful weapons and armor.

Returners is an excellent combo of RPG and RTS that offers an original and fun gaming experience. The graphics in the game, as you'll notice immediately, are spectacular – more on par with PC or console games than normal smartphone fare. Special mention for the enormous number of levels in the adventure mode, which should keep you busy for hours and hours.
